Powerful Indegenes of Borno State in Buhari's Gov't.

When President Muhammadu Buhari took power in May 29th, 2015 he had indicated both in words and actions that he wants to bring an end to the menace of Boko Haram Terrorism and other insecurity plaguing the nation at large. The Armed Forces most epecially the Army had shown their gallantry and doggedness in recapturing those LGAs under Mr. Sheqau and his boys. Despite the gains recorded, attacks on communities in Borno has increased in recent times and some powerful and key indigenes of Borno in Buhari's Government cannot use their wealth, power and influence to bring peace for their people.

Below are some key people and indigenes of Borno State in President Buhari's led Government.

Number one on the list is:

1. Gen. T. Y. Buratai

He is from Biu LGA of Borno State, he is the Army Chief of Nigeria (Chief of Army Staff). When he was appointed as the Army's Arrow head in 2015 he indicated both in actions and words that he would bring an end to our insecurity challenges, he, his counterparts and his soldiers made some successes in the past but today the story has changed over the past months.

2. Abba Kyari

There is no doubt that the Red Cap wearing man and the Chief of Staff to the President is the most powerful man in Buhari's Government and is now currently called on some quarters of the media as the De'facto president of Nigeria. He has been issuing orders, meddling and interfering in national issues which are not his jurisdiction as alleged by the NSA who is also from thesame state as Kyari.

3. Maj. Gen. Babagana Munguno rtd.

He is from Borno State as well and is an adviser to the President on Security. He had just laid allegations on his brother Abba Kyari for interfering in national security and giving orders to those in charge of overseeing the security affairs of this Country.

4. Mele Kyari

The GMD of Nigeria's well of money, the NNPC.

5. Sen. Ali Ndumi

Who is the Chairman Senate Committee on Army.

Despite the lists of this influential men, who are in possession of power, wealth/money cannot buy and bring peace for their people.

Some of them are just using the blood and innocent lives of the ordinary people of Borno State to enrich themselves and their immediate family. They are now sabotaging the government and enriching themselves.

These are just few among many

May the Almighty God bring peace and solace to these people being slaughtered everyday and let peace rain in our fatherland.

May he expose those behind the insecurity and the menace of Boko Haram we are facing.
