Meet The Three Shareef Brothers of Kannywood: Umar M Shareef, Abdul and Mustapha

It is amazing and exciting when you see siblings or members of thesame family sharing a profession. An example are the Williams sisters in Tennis, the Hazard brothers in football, Jude, Peter and Paul Okoye in music etc. The Shareef brothers in Kannywood are no exception.

The three Shareef brothers are popular Kannywood actors and music stars who are indegines of Kaduna State, Nigeria, Rigasa to be precise. They lost their father about two months ago, may Allah Grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

There is no doubt that these guys are household names with Umar being the most popular and prominent amongst the three brothers as he began his Kannywood career through Hausa Music and debuted in a movie titled "Mansoor".

Abdul M Shareef

Abdul just like his brother started as a singer but worked his way into Kannywood Movies in 2012.

He has been working as an actor, screenwriter and a producer before venturing into acting. One of Abdul's popular movie is Jinin Jiki na. Abdul is married with three kids.

Mustapha M Shareef

He is also an actor, producer, script writer.However Mustapha is not as popular as his other two brothers. He is married with kids too.

Umar M Shareef

Umar M Shareef is a Kannywood actor, singer/song writer. He was born in Rigasa, Kaduna State, Nigeria. Umar was popular before becoming an actor. His first movie in Kannywood was "Mansoor" in which he was the lead actor alongside Maryam Yahaya, the film was directed by multiple award winner, Ali Nuhu. Since appearing in Mansoor Umar never looked back again. He has featured in a song with Selebobo and Korede Bello as well.

This is just a brief about the Shareef brothers.
