Meet Hassana Al-Saba the first Female Muslim in Jamaica to be a licensed pilot

Meet 22 year old Hassan Al-Saba a female pilot from the caribbean country of Jamaica. She just recently got her Pilot’s license and it has made her the first Female Muslim in Jamaica to be a licensed pilot. According to Travel Noire, ⁠Hassan is currently being celebrated in her country Jamaica and around the Muslim world for being the first Jamaican Muslim woman to achieve such fate in the country's history. Hassan has described her achievement as "surreal". She took her flight test on August 25 and earned her license four days after. Why the Muslim world is celebrating this feat achieved by Hassana is because, Jamaica is a Muslim minority country. Islam was brought to the shores of Jamaica and the Caribbean by the African slaves during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. AVOIDING UNNECESSARY PRESSURE As humans it is in our nature to want to live, eat, dress, walk and generally act like others without even giving it a second thought.
