Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini otherwise known as Lionel Messi who doubles as the captain of both the Argentine national team and Fc Barcelona of Spain is no doubt the greatest footballer still alive and the world has ever seen.

Having won six Ballon d'Or which is a world record. Messi has won six European golden Shoes, he had also won 34 trophies with his Spanish club Barcelona and of which are four Champions League Titles. He is the highest goals scorer of the Spanish LaLiga, most hat-tricks, most assists etc.

However, despite these records pundits argued that he's not the greatest because his successes are with a club not the national team.

Although, some pundits and football commentators differ on their opinions concerning Messi, he still remains one of the greatest.
