Reports from Taraba State has indicated that the Government of Taraba State has on Monday, May 18, 2020 lifted some of its imposed restrictions on movement in the state, after the State's Deputy, Governor Engr. Haruna Manu announced that the state no longer has an active case of Coronavirus.
In his statement, the Deputy Governor, stated that Muslims and Christians in Taraba are directed to resume their various religious activities but in strict adherence to the Covid-19 protocol.
This is contained in a state broadcast by the Deputy Governor, Engr. Haruna Manu.
During a live broadcast on Monday the Deputy Governor said, that removing restrictions of movement will allow the people of the state to visit neighborhood market, buy food items and other essential commodities.
The new days for the ease of the lockdown are Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 8:00 am to 6:00 p.m, while lockdown remains in force on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
However, the Deputy Governor, emphasized that the interstate movement restrictions are still in place and anyone find wanting will be penalized.
