14th Headies Award: Fireboy and Wizkid With the Most Awards


The Headies Award which is Nigeria's Premier Music Award just concluded its 14th edition. The 14th edition of the Headies Award was held on 21st February, 2021 both virtually and offline as result the Covid-19 pandemic. The annual event took place in Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Nigerian Singer Ayo Balogun known as WizKid went home with two awards; Best Song of the year and Viewers Choice and the Artiste of the Year.

The Award has made Wizkid the only Nigerian Artiste with the most Viewers Choice Awards. He won the Award in 2012, 2016 and 2020 respectively.

Fireboy is the Artiste most awards to his name. Fireboy won the Pop of the Year, Best R&B Single, Best R&B Album, and Headies Revelation of the Year.
